2021 Yetti and the kOkOnut B'Rose Multi Varietal
David Geyer and Koen Janssens met in 2015 and despite being established producers separately, they created Yetti & The Kokonut to experiment with grapes in exciting new ways, this is no exception, having been made using blend of Cabernet franc, Sémillon, Red Sémillon, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier. They’re treated individually and are fermented and aged in seasoned wood. With B’Rose, it’s less about the varieties and more about achieving a structural yet fruit forward, dry style of rose that you just want to take to the park/beach/hills and enjoy with your nearest and dearest. It drinks as it looks, plums, fig with a backbone of lemon and lime. No food match here, it’s not a serious wine, just bloody delicious.
